Numera anv\u00e4nds maskiner och datorprogram som kan t\u00e4nka och l\u00e4ra sig, ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r att bara f\u00f6lja enkla instruktioner fr\u00e5n m\u00e4nniskor, i allt st\u00f6rre utstr\u00e4ckning. Moderna mobiltelefoner, hush\u00e5llsapparater och till och med h\u00f6gteknologiska bilar har olika typer av AI!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>ESA:s arbete med AI kan sp\u00e5ras tillbaka till f\u00f6r ungef\u00e4r 15 \u00e5r sedan, d\u00e5 tekniken utvecklades f\u00f6r att hj\u00e4lpa astronauter under utbildning inf\u00f6r uppdrag till Columbus-laboratoriet, som ing\u00e5r i den internationella rymdstationen. Ett f\u00f6retag vid namn Space Applications Services utvecklade en programvara som p\u00e5 ett smart s\u00e4tt kunde svara p\u00e5 fr\u00e5gor som \u201cvad \u00e4r det h\u00e4r?\u201d och \u201cvar \u00e4r det h\u00e4r?\u201d. De tog fram ett verktyg som man kunde st\u00e4lla fr\u00e5gor till och som sedan visade svaren. Det kunde till och med s\u00f6ka igenom tusentals timmar av videomaterial f\u00f6r att snabbt hitta anv\u00e4ndbar information. En annan version anv\u00e4ndes f\u00f6r att utbilda personal p\u00e5 flygplatser, f\u00f6r att hj\u00e4lpa dem att fatta snabba beslut och hantera problem.<\/p>\n<p>De senaste AI-verktygen kan s\u00f6ka igenom enorma datam\u00e4ngder fr\u00e5n skriftliga dokument, videomaterial, sociala medier och mycket mer \u2013 p\u00e5 bara n\u00e5gra sekunder! Detta har v\u00e4ckt intresse hos den belgiska polisen, som \u00f6verv\u00e4ger att anv\u00e4nda tekniken f\u00f6r att hitta ledtr\u00e5dar och l\u00f6sa brott.<\/p>\n<p>Samtidigt f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntas AI bli \u00e4nnu viktigare i framtida rymduppdrag, vilket kommer att g\u00f6ra dem billigare och s\u00e4krare. ESA:s n\u00e4sta astronaut i rymden, Alexander Gerst, kommer i \u00e5r att ta detta till en ny niv\u00e5 genom att testa en intelligent mobil bes\u00e4ttningsassistent som kallas CIMON \u2013 Crew Interactive MObile companion.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video\"><iframe width=\"400\" height=\"280\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BRWJFQlNXHI\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n<p>Se CIMON i aktion!
