Een van de gelukkige drie is ESA-astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Samantha werd twee jaar geleden uitgenodigd om deel te nemen aan deze missie, die \u2018Futura\u2019 is genoemd. Sindsdien volgt ze de noodzakelijke opleiding om zich geestelijk en lichamelijk voor te bereiden.<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens de opleiding komen alle aspecten van het leven aan boord van het ruimtestation aan bod, zoals de Sojoez-capsule besturen en reanimatie uitvoeren.<\/p>\n<p>Essentieel binnen haar opleiding was het leren bedienen van de robotarm van het ruimtestation (om apparatuur te verplaatsen en reparaties uit te voeren) en natuurlijk wat te doen bij een onverhoopte noodsituatie in de ruimte!<\/p>\n<p>Samantha sloot haar twee lange jaren van voorbereiding af met twee weken quarantaine. Gedrie\u00ebn stappen zij in de Sojoez, die hen in zes spannende uren naar het ruimtestation brengt.<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens haar verblijf in de ruimte verricht Samantha allerlei wetenschappelijke proeven die alleen in de ruimte mogelijk zijn.
