The Fenor NS Team is composed of 25 students ages 8-11 years old. The title of their project investigation was <i>Investigating Storms and how they affect the Local Environment <\/i>where they focused on the effects of storms in their local environment and various ways to mitigate or prevent damages from this weather event.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Nacht van de Grote Wind in 1839 De Grote Sneeuw van 1947 Orkaan Charley in 1986 Orkaan Katis in 2011<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Nacht van de Grote Wind in 1839<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>De Grote Sneeuw van 1947<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Orkaan Charley in 1986<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Orkaan Katis in 2011<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They also conducted an experiment at home called \u2018<i>Rain Cloud in a Jar\u2019 <\/i>which demonstrated how clouds cause rain to fall from the atmosphere.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Het team haalde informatie uit nationale kranten, interviews, mediaverslagen en artikelen, en vond zo manieren waarop burgers de effecten van stormschade kunnen verminderen. Ook kwamen ze met een indrukwekkend actieplan!<\/p>\n<p>ESA wil haar oprechte waardering uitspreken voor het geweldige werk van dit team van jonge wetenschappers.
