Alig 50 km-re a c\u00e9lt\u00f3l m\u00e1r tiszt\u00e1n l\u00e1that\u00f3 el\u0151tt\u00fck Gr\u00f6nland. A b\u00e1tor felfedez\u0151k v\u00e1rhat\u00f3an m\u00e9g ezen a h\u00e9ten el\u00e9rik az eg\u00e9sz sarkvid\u00e9ki medenc\u00e9t \u00e1tszel\u0151 hossz\u00fa \u00fatjuk v\u00e9gpontj\u00e1t.<\/p>\n<p>A j\u00e9ggel bor\u00edtott \u00c9szaki-tengeren \u00e1t vezet\u0151 kimer\u00edt\u0151 \u00fatjuk, az \u00fagynevezett \u201eArctic Arc Expedition\u201d, a Nemzetk\u00f6zi Sarki \u00c9v keret\u00e9ben zajl\u00f3 sz\u00e1mos tudom\u00e1nyos tev\u00e9kenys\u00e9g egyike. A k\u00e9t tapasztalt sarkkutat\u00f3 k\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00f6sen a h\u00f3vastags\u00e1gi adatok gy\u0171jt\u00e9se ir\u00e1nt \u00e9rdekl\u0151d\u00f6tt.
