Como parte de su inspiradora misi\u00f3n, Cheops medir\u00e1 con precisi\u00f3n las dimensiones de peque\u00f1os exoplanetas \u2014con tama\u00f1os que oscilan entre el de la Tierra y el de Neptuno\u2014 de los que ya conocemos la masa, con el fin de determinar sus densidades. Tambi\u00e9n observar\u00e1 los \u00abJ\u00fapiteres calientes\u00bb que orbitan cerca de sus estrellas madre para conocer mejor su atm\u00f3sfera e identificar objetivos interesantes para observaciones en profundidad por parte de futuras misiones.
