P\u0159ed 450 lety objevil nizozemsk\u00fd astronom Christiaan Huygens velk\u00fd m\u011bs\u00edc ob\u00edhaj\u00edc\u00ed kolem Saturnu. Ten byl nakonec pojmenov\u00e1n Titan, podle obra ze starov\u011bk\u00fdch \u0159eck\u00fdch b\u00e1j\u00ed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Titan byl skute\u010dn\u011b obr \u2013 druh\u00fd nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed m\u011bs\u00edc ve slune\u010dn\u00ed soustav\u011b. Ale i dnes je to sv\u011bt pln\u00fd z\u00e1had. Jeho povrch je skryt pod vrstvou oran\u017eov\u00e9ho oparu.<\/p>\n

V\u011bdci v\u011bd\u00ed, \u017ee jeho hust\u00e1 atmosf\u00e9ra se skl\u00e1d\u00e1 p\u0159ev\u00e1\u017en\u011b z dus\u00edku, stejn\u011b jako na Zemi. Obsahuje tak\u00e9 metan, plyn, kter\u00fd spalujeme v na\u0161ich domech a tov\u00e1rn\u00e1ch.<\/p>\n

Teplota na povrchu v\u0161ak \u010din\u00ed \u2013180 \u00b0C, co\u017e je dost na to, aby led byl tvrd\u00fd jako sk\u00e1la. Je zde pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 chladno na to, aby zde mohl existovat \u017eivot, i kdy\u017e hluboko pod povrchem by se mohl nach\u00e1zet oce\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

Jedin\u00fdm zp\u016fsobem, jak odhalit tajemstv\u00ed Titanu, je vyslat tam kosmickou lo\u010f. 14. ledna se sonda Huygens agentury ESA spust\u00ed na pad\u00e1ku atmosf\u00e9rou.<\/p>\n

Jeho \u0161est p\u0159\u00edstroj\u016f po\u0159\u00edd\u00ed prvn\u00ed sn\u00edmky dosud neprozkouman\u00e9ho povrchu a odhal\u00ed n\u00e1m, jak Titan ve skute\u010dnosti vypad\u00e1. Huygens dopadne na povrch rychlost\u00ed 5 metr\u016f za sekundu \u2013 jako by \u010dlov\u011bk sko\u010dil ze \u017eidle na zem.<\/p>\n
