V\u010dera v noci odstartovala dru\u017eice Sentinel 1 na raket\u011b Sojuz z evropsk\u00e9ho kosmodromu v Kourou ve Francouzsk\u00e9 Guyan\u011b.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Satelit o hmotnosti 2,3 tuny byl vypu\u0161t\u011bn na slune\u010dn\u011b synchronn\u00ed ob\u011b\u017enou dr\u00e1hu ve v\u00fd\u0161ce 693 km. Tento typ ob\u011b\u017en\u00e9 dr\u00e1hy umo\u017en\u00ed satelitu Sentinel p\u0159el\u00e9t\u00e1vat nad stejnou \u010d\u00e1st\u00ed Zem\u011b ka\u017ed\u00fd den p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b ve stejnou dobu.<\/p>\n

Tato radarov\u00e1 mise, koncipovan\u00e1 jako konstelace dvou satelit\u016f (Sentinel 1A a Sentinel 1B), bude v t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 re\u00e1ln\u00e9m \u010dase poskytovat sn\u00edmky povrchu pevniny a oce\u00e1n\u016f v Evrop\u011b, Kanad\u011b a pol\u00e1rn\u00edch oblastech za ka\u017ed\u00e9ho po\u010das\u00ed a ve dne i v noci.<\/p>\n
