Porozum\u011bn\u00ed tomu, jak tyto siln\u00e9 bou\u0159e vznikaj\u00ed, a p\u0159edpov\u00edd\u00e1n\u00ed jejich pohybu je z\u00e1sadn\u00ed pro z\u00e1chranu lidsk\u00fdch \u017eivot\u016f. S t\u00edmto \u00fakolem pom\u00e1haj\u00ed dv\u011b dru\u017eice Sentinel agentury ESA.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Vyu\u017eit\u00ed satelit\u016f ob\u00edhaj\u00edc\u00edch kolem Zem\u011b k fotografov\u00e1n\u00ed hurik\u00e1n\u016f shora je u\u017eite\u010dn\u00e9. Satelity Sentinel v\u0161ak disponuj\u00ed speci\u00e1ln\u00ed funkc\u00ed, kter\u00e1 je je\u0161t\u011b lep\u0161\u00ed. Jsou vybaveny \u0161pi\u010dkov\u00fdmi radarov\u00fdmi sn\u00edmac\u00edmi za\u0159\u00edzen\u00edmi, kter\u00e1 slou\u017e\u00ed k monitorov\u00e1n\u00ed rozsahu mo\u0159sk\u00e9ho ledu, sledov\u00e1n\u00ed ropn\u00fdch skvrn a dokonce i k pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed zm\u011bn v ter\u00e9nu po zem\u011bt\u0159esen\u00edch. D\u00edky tomu m\u016f\u017eeme z\u00edskat informace o povrchov\u00fdch v\u011btrech a v\u00fd\u0161ce vln p\u0159\u00edmo pod hurik\u00e1ny. Pos\u00edlat lidi na lod\u00edch do bou\u0159\u00ed, aby tyto informace z\u00edskali, by bylo nesm\u00edrn\u011b nebezpe\u010dn\u00e9. Vyu\u017eit\u00ed satelit\u016f je naopak velmi bezpe\u010dn\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>\u00dadaje shrom\u00e1\u017ed\u011bn\u00e9 satelitn\u00edmi stanicemi Sentinel umo\u017e\u0148uj\u00ed v\u011bdc\u016fm p\u0159edpov\u011bd\u011bt, jak ni\u010div\u00fd bude hurik\u00e1n a kde by mohl zas\u00e1hnout pevninu ob\u00fdvanou lidmi. V z\u00e1\u0159\u00ed zas\u00e1hl hurik\u00e1n Irma Kubu a Floridsk\u00e9 ostrovy, co\u017e vyvolalo obrovsk\u00e9 vlny vysok\u00e9 a\u017e 10 metr\u016f. Satelity Sentinel krou\u017eily nad nimi, sledovaly situaci a shroma\u017e\u010fovaly cenn\u00e9 informace.<\/p>\n<p>Satelity Sentinel se ukazuj\u00ed jako velmi u\u017eite\u010dn\u00e9 n\u00e1stroje, kter\u00e9 n\u00e1m pom\u00e1haj\u00ed l\u00e9pe pozn\u00e1vat planetu Zemi a chr\u00e1nit lidi, kte\u0159\u00ed na n\u00ed \u017eij\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p><b>Zaj\u00edmavost:<\/b> Dv\u011b dru\u017eice, kter\u00e9 slou\u017e\u00ed k pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed hurik\u00e1n\u016f, se naz\u00fdvaj\u00ed Sentinel-1A a 1B.
